Laser Welder

Once a just a sci-fi luxury the Laser Welder beamed us all up to a new level of repair skills. The applications in horology are endless. Cases can be repaired as can watchbands and clasps. Repairing a worn wheel, set bridge or even a broken balance wheel can be accomplished. Striped out holes can be filled and retaped and the list could go on. Students have access to this remakable piece of equipment and excellent training assure they learn the proper techniques in it's use. In this photos Oscar Guartuche displays a ring being laser welded.
