Justin Wise 1st Semester

Justin Wise , Dallas,TX. is is finishing up the 1st semester in Horology at Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology. Here he is Poising a Balance wheel which produces a wheel that has it's weight staticaly equalized. Weight is removed from the wheel in small amounts until there are esentially no heavy spots. As with wheels in autos and other moving machines wheels should be true and balanced. Watchmakers have been poising balance wheels for centuries, long before the automobile was ever thought of.
