April 2004 started out wonderful. The weather was beautiful and warm and the fossil hunting was pretty good too. We didn't bag as many pieces as we usually do but the few we did get are really something to see! Take a look at the Aminoid fossil that is completely turned into Pyrite. We have found some like this but not this nice. The Mosasarus tooth is a honker and check out the vertebra Laura found. It weights 1.5 pounds. Man... That was a big lizard !
